1st Bell and Maddox’s TOLRIVER ENZO AT OWLSPOINT BPIB

Very promising, chesnut youngster, rising 7months. Super shape and type. Pleasing head, narrow with the desired amount of chisellingunder his dark, oval shaped eyes. Lean cheeks, correct ear shape and carriage with a prominent occiput, double dewlap evident but not overdone. Strong neck leading into his well placed shoulders. Good depth of chest, elbows close fitting. Forelimbs straight and well boned. Super big, well arched feet with short nails. Correct topline showing the break and rise to his short loin/croup. His hind quarters were well muscled with a moderate bend of stifle and strong shocks. His movement was ground covering with the desired long easy gait. Like him a lot, unfortunately he flagged quite significantly in his next class, which cost him the class but he is very much a baby with time on his side. Will watch his career with interest. I was delighted to hear, he went on to Rbpis. Many congratulations.

1st Palomba’s PURDEXS KHAL DROGO

Medium sized male of 21months. He was presented in fit, hard condition. Super masculine head without coarseness. Evident diverging head planes, deep muzzle, lean cheeks, correct chiselling below his eyeswhich had close fitting lids. Good ears set and carriage. Muscular neck, well laid back shoulders and correct depth to brisket. He was well muscled throughout with his ribs extending well back. I would prefer him a touch shorter in body and stronger in secondthigh which would help to strengthen his hock joints and present a truly impressive picture. He moved positively, eating up the ground, at one with his handler. His tail carriage was higher than desirable but he is a young lad,full of life. I’m sure this will level out once he is fully mature.

Quality, mature bitch with many commendable points. Loved her shape, such good bone yet retaining femininity. Super headwith a lovely expression, narrow, with lean cheeks and evident chiselling. Her ears were correctly set on with the customary fold inwards. Strong neck set on to her well laid back shoulders and defined withers. Correct depth of brisket with close fitting elbows. Her topline showed the correct slope and rise to her croup. Super feet, big and well padded.Her rear assembly was well muscled, if a little lean. Her hocks straight and true. She moved with real drive and power, effortless and precise. Sympathetically handled to get the very best from her, a well deserved bob.

A very exuberant 8 month old baby, with a well molded head, pleasing length of muzzle, dark eye and mischievous expression, small neat ears completed her feminine head. Good length of neck leading into adequate forequarters and pronounced brisket. Gradual spring of rib with correct depth and short square loin. Moderate bend of stifle and well let down hocks. Tail correctly set, completing her level topline which she held on the move. I preferred her overall balance and movement compared to my second place.
2nd Salt’s LEVELMOOR BLACKADDER
A very similar puppy to the winner, which I later found out was litter sister. I am sure these two will swap places a lot in the future.
A very feminine head, with dark almond shaped eye. Moderate angles both fore and aft, with a correct spring of rib. She was not as confident or balanced today as the winner and this showed in her movement which unfortunately lost her the class.

Correct length of body, with the length coming from the ribs rather than the loin. Strong back end, with good width of second thigh, which was well muscled. Correct tail set completed her overall profile.
2nd Powell’s BONNYHILBRAE LOVE OF JOY JW
I have judged this bitch before and although lacking in maturity in this class; which made my decision to place her second, she presented a lovely balanced outline and moved with drive. Classical one-piece head with dark eye. Strong level topline, with correct length in body and short couplings. Excellent rear quarters with correct bend of stifle and well let down hocks. Just needs time to mature.

Elbows moved cleanly and evenly, correctly set against the foreribs, gradual spring of rib and short coupled. Well-muscled rear angulation which powered her around the ring. Pleased to award her BOB.
2nd Blythin’s CASTLEROCK MARKSMAN AVEC JULESVILLE
A masculine boy in good coat and condition. Good head although I would have preferred slightly more length of muzzle, dark eye, with small neat ears. Strong neck well set in suitably angulated shoulders. Good depth of chest and strong bone with small tight feet. Moved well but did not quite hold his topline on the move.

Stood he is very well made, with nothing overdone. Correct coat and shown in hard muscular condition. On the move he covered the ground with ease and was very sound.
2nd Schoneville’s BALVANIE BELLA JW
A compactly made girl who had the best muscle of the day. I can imagine her working and covering the ground with ease as she put 110% effort into driving around the ring today. Unlucky to meet 1.

A well balanced, light gold, 9 month bitch which caught the eye today. Pretty feminine head with lovely pigment and a soft expression. She has an excellent length of neck which blends into good shoulder placement, a strong level back and correct tail set. With complimentary rear angulation and bend of stifle, her well muscled quarters set on short hocks, produced straight and true movement with a good length of stride. She has both a happy disposition and a lovely outline which she kept whilst on the move.
2nd Husbands’s CHISLEAY CHASE THE DREAM
A more compact 10 month bitch in excellent coat and condition. She has a pretty feminine head, lovely dark pigment and a soft expression. With good bone and correct cat feet, her front view is beautifully straight and both front and rear angles are correct. She has a compact body with a good spring of rib, topline and tailset. Movement straight and true front and back, again with topline kept on the move. Well handled just not fully cooperating today.

Stood alone but a worthy winner, rich gold 12 month young lady with a pretty head and expression and a happy disposition. She has a lovely balanced outline with correct angles both front and rear and a good topline right down to the tip of her well set tail. A lovely straight front, good bone and feet, strong quarters and a good width of thigh, all pull together to produce movement that is sound and true with a good length of stride. Just a slight lack of concentration today but well presented and handled.

Paler 2 ½ year old bitch built on a smaller frame and producing a more compact picture. She has lovely pigment and correct bite, a balanced head which is just a little strong for me. Good front and shoulder placement. She has a level back and is short coupled, just slightly sloping in croup. With well muscled quarters and short neat hocks she moved out well. Not in the best jacket today.

A 2 ½ year old dog who presented a good overall balanced picture today with nothing overdone. He is beautifully straight when viewed from the front, standing on good bone and tight feet. I loved his soft masculine head and expression. A strong neck into good shoulders, he has complimentary angles front and rear, a straight back, short coupling and correct tail set. With good straight pasterns and a nice bend of stifle, he produced even and precise footfall on the move with a good powered length of stride. In good coat and well presented.
2nd Williams’s CESARKA PIN UP GIRL JW
A 3 year old young lady with a super rich gold coat and pale furnishings. Even lacking a full jacket today, she still produced a super outline. She has pretty head, good pigment and lovely soft expression. With a deep chest and good front construction, she runs into a level topline and tail set. She has super angles both front and rear and strong well made hindquarters which allow good sound movement and drive. Well handled, but full movement could be appreciated today.

Pretty 4 ½ year old, mid gold bitch with a lovely feminine head, dark pigment and kind expression. She has an excellent reach of neck flowing into lovely front construction which is fully complimented at the rear. Good fore-chest and straight front, she stands on correct length of leg and four neat feet. Lovely topline, tailset and carriage with a good depth of rib and strong loin. Strong backend with straight hocks and pasterns, which with good muscle-tone provided true and even movement. Shown to advantage.
2nd Magson’s CASTLEGOLDEN CLASSY LADY
4 year old bitch of lovely type, built on a more compact frame and carrying a full cream coat. Feminine head and soft expression. Strong neck into good shoulder angulation, deep well sprung ribs and tight elbows. Strong loin and well angulated and muscled quarters with good second thigh. Correct tail set and action. Moved well in the space provided, keeping her lovely outline.

Eye catching fourteen month old happy, really pretty yellow girl with a most beautiful expression and used her ears well. Presented a clean balanced outline with an excellent reach of neck, leading into well placed shoulders and level top line which she held on the move. In good coat, strong well developed rear quarters, she moved freely, at one with her handler and showed with enthusiasm. Pushed hard for BOB.

A level topline that he held on the move with a correct tail set leading to a well covered otter tail. Pleased to see him make the cut several times for BIS.

Exuberant young fellow who really made his handler work!! Pleasing head, exhibiting correct divergence. Strong muzzle, correct dentition. Good ear set and carriage, he has a mischievous expression and a sparkle in his eyes. Strong short neck, well placed shoulders, correct depth with tight elbows. He demonstrates the correct topline, sloping slightly towards his croup. Balanced fore and aft. Being critical, I would prefer slightly squarer shape. His movement was certainly animated with plenty of drive.

9.5yr old male. I loved his square shape, his masculine head with alert expression. His neck was moderately short and muscular, his shoulders were well placed, with his brisket dropping to his elbows. His topline was firm, his loin short but muscular and his underline was slightly tucked up. Correct coat type, woolly and slightly coarse with ring shaped curls. His movement was precise and lively. Hard to believe he is almost ready for a vintage class. Well deserved bob.

Neat tail which she used on the move. When she settled on the move she was sound with the correct action, she just couldn’t quite hold it together on the final run around the ring. Think she should have a bright future

This girl is in tip top condition and not showing her age at all. I have often admired her, she is of good size and well made. Her tail today never stopped wagging and she moved with drive and purpose. Such a shame I only had 1 red rosette for this class.
