Black bitch, beautifully presented. In outline she is balanced. She has a good head of equal proportions and clearly defined stop. Her eyes are dark and tight with a gentle and intelligent expression. Good spring of rib and substance with good bone. Good angulation front and back with a good bend of stifle. She held her topline when on the move and in static balance. She moved well once settled. One to watch.
2nd Fleetwood’s LARARTH ROSA BLEU
Blue Roan and Tan bitch. Well presented. In outline she presents a balanced picture. She is short, cobby and square. Her head is good, with a good depth of muzzle and balanced proportions. I preferred the angulation front and back of one, but she is very balanced which was reflected in her good movement. Another who held her topline level whilst moving and in static balance. One to watch. A close decision between one and two in this class.

A black bitch of quality and good cocker type. Had there been a Reserve Best in Show this youngster would have earned it. She has a good head with clean chiselling being evident. Such a gentle, intelligent expression from those dark tight eyes. Excellent reach of neck into well placed shoulders. She has a strong topline, is short coupled with good muscle and bone. She is well let down at the hock and well-proportioned all through. When her moderate ribs spring fully, this will complete the picture. She moved well once settled. I will watch her career with interest.

Gold bitch. Good expression and head of equal proportions. I would like more definition in her stop but there is time for her head to ‘break’. She moved well holding her topline level.

Blue Roan bitch of good cocker type. In outline she presents a pleasing picture being balanced all through. Her head is very good with equal proportions, a good depth of muzzle, well-defined stop and good, tight eyes with a gentle expression. Her width and depth of chest are good, with well sprung ribs and good depth of brisket. She presents a feminine picture with substance which isn’t overdone. I like her well rounded and muscular hindquarters. She is a typical merry cocker who moved happily and well on parallel lines once settled and facing forward.

Good reach of neck into well placed shoulders level topline which he kept on the move. Nice rear angulation and good bone throughout. Did not disappoint me as RBIS .

This boy was placed in the junior class. Gorgeous expression on a quality head. He was very much a novice and it was a job to assess him. Neat feet and well boned legs. Good proportions and decent quarters. He moved excitedly and I hope some ring training will see him show himself to advantage.

Good shoulder and forequarters generally. Well proportioned hindquarters with good let down. He’s a little naughty but moved well and I was pleased to award him BOB.
