Thank you to this club for inviting me to judge. This is a club that deserves to be supported. Lots of goody bags handed out to winners and substantial money prizes for group placings and special classes. This is a club that cares about the exhibitors and deserves the support.
I had an impressive line up for BIS but the Weimaraner bitch, GUNALT ASTUTE AT SMILEK, took my eye, superb conformation and effortless movement won her the top spot; RBIS, the cocker dog, RIONDEL MANHATTON TRANSFER, gorgeous headed dark blue, immaculately presented and moved happily to take 2nd place; 3 the Sussex bitch, MARQUELL XCLAIMAION MARK AFTER TORSHEA, quality all through, just lacked the maturity of those above her; 4 the F/C Retriever bitch, FLATHAMS GAODE DELBAX FROM CASTLEROCK, still showing herself off to take a place.
BP went to the golden retriever bitch, GOLMAS GILOTTY, only 8 months and a promising prospect, loved her head, super front, bone and feet, pleasing neck and shoulders, strong, nicely angulated hindquarters, presented a balanced picture, moved well with the correct tail carriage; RBP, the b/w Pointer bitch, WILCHRIMANE TAPESTRY, gorgeous puppy, I loved everything about her, close decision but the golden just had the edge on ring presence, I see her brother won both AV puppy classes, obviously a lovely litter from her famous parents; 3 the Sussex bitch, MARQUELL YOU KNOW YOU KNOW TORSHEA, a quality baby, pleasing to handle, moved happily with pleasing tail action; 4 the Field, EWTOR AFFINITY FOR FLYENPYG, 11 month old bitch, loved her head, pleasing conformation, moved well holding her topline, should have a good future.

This seven year old certainly took my eye as he entered the ring. The most gorgeous and pleasing expression as you approach the front. Good head proportions, well set ears. Long neck set into well laid shoulders. Deep and well developed rib cage, good length. Strong and well conditioned over the loin area. Moderate bend to stifle, gently leading into strong and well let down hocks. Good tailset. On the move this dog moves with purpose and demonstrates that even for a seven year old could do a day in the field over and over again. Easy BoB and my best dog by a mile.

20 month old dog who’s undoubtedly all male. Nice head with kind intelligent expression, short backed with balanced angles front and rear. Well-muscled, in great condition with a tough jacket. Moved well in a small ring.
2nd Roberts’s KEIGAME NATHALIA
Smart little 16 month old liver bitch, who when settled created a nice outline. Would prefer a little more of her all over. Well balanced when moving, although a little wide when coming towards me. Shown in great condition.

Open (3,1)
1st Brown and Burn’s POTHOUSE MISS LAVENDER RBOB
I had to ask her handler twice her age, as at 11 she shows no signs of her advanced years. In super muscular condition, with just a hint of grey on her feminine muzzle, she created a nice outline when stacked. Super turn of stifle. A little wide coming towards me, but other than that she moved so effortlessly for her age. Was very taken with her!

7 month old B/W bitch with super feminine head and expression and nice furnishings. Lovely dark eye. Nice front on super feet, lovely profile being longer than she is tall, with balanced angles. This dog I could have taken home with me, as I would never get bored of looking at this stunning chaps head. Perfect amount of furnishings for that undoubtedly male wire haired expression. Super dark eyes. Great neck and shoulders, strong bone without being coarse, tight feet. Well angulated front and rear, covered with a fabulous wire jacket. 1st Stilgoe and Oliver’s ASTEROPE LIGHTENING STAR VIA TEISGOL RBOB
15 month old B/W bitch, nicely made all through and in profile created a nice outline. Very feminine head with definite stop, would prefer little more of her and slightly more turn of stifle to complete the picture. Moved very well complete with good tail action in a very small ring to take the class.
2nd Onions’s WILCHRIMANE TAPESTRY BPIB
What a super B/W 6 month old baby, heavier all through than 1, with a super head with melting expression. The best return of upper arm in the breed today, and stacked is that series of curves you want to see. A little overawed at first, once she set off moving although a little loose as you would expect at this age, her profile movement was wonderful to watch, with no hint of hackney action I have noticed watching the breed from ringside recently. Looking at my catalogue and her breeding I can see her parents in her.

3yr old O/W dog, Super masculine head and expression with dish like profile. Strong neck into good shoulders, balanced all through, and shown in super condition. Loved his rear angles, if I was nit-picking I would like a little more upper arm, but his movement was true both ways.
