1st Trow’s FAYEMM TREACLE TART WITH WINTERWELL BPIB, BOB
What a smart lady she is, so well together for her young age. She has a super outline and balance. I really liked her head and expression. Neck into shoulders is excellent, leading into a super front assembly with the correct lay of shoulder. Standing on straight legs and correctly place elbows. Good depth of chest for her age, firm back. Quarters are well made, stifles well bent. She had a good action and covered the ground well. One I like a lot and if she continues growing in this vein, she should have a bright future ahead of her. Delighted to watch her later awarded Reserve Best in Show and then Best Puppy in Show. I will follow her career with interest.

Another good one who was unlucky to meet the winner, Sixteen months old. Head of good shape with a kind eye to give a feminine expression. Neck is clean, shoulder lay back is good. Stands on well boned legs and neat feet, would have like her a little tighter in elbow. Body of good proportions and quarters well developed. Moved out well with plenty of drive.

Good overall shape and outline. Head is pleasing with good proportions, would like her eyes to be a shade darker to enhance the expression. Neck clean leading into a decent front assembly. Well made in body, quarters well developed. Not as good as the winner on the move today, needs a little more drive to complete the picture.
3rd James’s KEIGAME NELL GWYN AT CWNGIEDD

1st Pocock’s FAYEMM SEA THE STARS
Last judged him just under a year ago and he has certainly developed and bodied up since then, maturing as he should with age. Head masculine with a good eye. I liked his neck into shoulders, which were correctly placed. Depth to chest and elbows well laid back. Stands on straight legs and neat feet. Good through the body, ribs well developed. Quarters well made with stifles well bent. Did enough on the move to take the class, footfall was accurate but just would have liked him a little tidier in the challenge.
2nd Schoneville’s BALVENIE DOUBLE DIAMOND JW
Well-made dog, good overall shape, for my tastes would have like a little more layback of shoulder. Head is well proportioned with eyes of a good colour, neck clean. Decent depth of chest on him and ribs well spung and back, good angulation behind. Not quite the topline of the winner, moved out well but needs a little more forward extension.

1st Donnelly’s KIMMAX THEY CALL ME MR TIBBS BPIB
Smart puppy, six months old and developing nicely. I see his dam is the postgraduate winner and his sire to the open winner. Head is well proportioned with a good overall shape, eyes. Good length of neck in to well set shoulders and decent return of upper arm. Standing on straight, well boned legs. Ribs are well back into a firm loin. Quarters well-proportioned with good angulation. Moved out well with a good profile action, needs to tighten up in front but will do that as he matures. Promising puppy with a lot to like about him. Best Puppy and delighted to hear he later was awarded Puppy Group 3, many congratulations.
2nd Turnbull’s KIMMAX TWO KAN PLAY AT ELAGRAM
On my initial walk round I thought this young lady would be the winner but she wouldn’t play ball and kept roaching her topline on the stack. She has a pretty feminine head, good furnishings. Strong neck in wo well set shoulders, stands on good straight legs. Good depth to forechest, ribs well spring for her age. Moderate quarters. Moved well for a youngster.

1st Donnelly’s KIMMAX WHO KARES WINS
This three-year-old lady is the dam of the puppy winner and has past on her many positive virtues to her son. I liked her on the stack, clean in outline, she has a feminine head and expression with good furnishings. Decent lay-back of shoulders, stands on straight legs, ribs well sprung and firm in topline. Quarters well developed, stifles well bent. Good action on the move, would have liked a little more front extension.

1st Donnelly’s SH CH KIMMAX KNOCK YOURSELF OUT JW SHCM BOB
I note that this is one who has done well under me before but was with a different handler this time. Upstanding male who presents a balanced picture on the stack, he has good angles fore and aft, to me he excelled in breed type. Head is well proportioned with the correct amount of furnishings. Strong neck in to well set shoulders with a decent return of upper arm. Ribs well sprung into a firm loin. Quarters well made with stifles well bent and well-muscled. Harsh coat. Moved out well. Best of Breed.
2nd McCullough’s KIMMAX KINDLY STAND BLACK
Little to separate this young lady from the winner, again a super shape with excellent balance and overall proportions. Head of good shape, correct amount of furnishings, eyes a good colour to give a feminine expression. Strong in neck into a well assembled front, plenty of depth to her chest, ribs well sprung and back, loin firm, top line level. Quarters well made with a good bend of stifle. Coat harsh and of good texture. Moved well covering the ground, I was splitting hairs with the winner but just felt on the final run round Knock Yourself Out, had the better ground covering action.

15 month Choc bitch. I really really liked her. Excellent head with very good pigmentation and eye colour. Strong neck leading to a well-developed forechest and perfect front angulation. Good depth and spring of rib. Strong, level topline. Firm over the loins. Just the right turn of stifle. All standing on excellent, well boned legs and lovely tight feet. Moved very well. Very pretty head and excellent reach of neck. Well laid shoulders. Good forechest and depth to her well sprung ribs. Strong, level topline. Lovely otter tail. Overall of pleasing construction. Moved very well.
2nd Jones’s LEMBAS TIANA AT SERENJAR
I loved the head on this Black bitch. She has the most enchanting expression. Good reach of neck with well laid shoulders. Elbows carried tight in, which makes her front feet turn out slightly. This is not a worry as she is not yet 2 years old and as her forechest deepens and broadens, and her rib cage springs, her front will be totally correct. Overall, she is a later maturing type, but these often end up the better dogs. Topline needs to tighten and second thigh also needs to fully develop, but underneath the immature surface, there is a soundly constructed bitch who will be well worth waiting for.
Post Graduate (4,1)
1st Long’s CARPENNY PHEYA BOB
This gorgeous black bitch caught my eye as soon as she walked into the ring, and I now see that she is from a kennel whose stock I admire very much. A beautifully moulded head with a glorious, melting expression and a lovely kind eye of super colour. Perfect shoulders and front angulation. Deep through the girth. Well sprung ribs. Neat, tight feet. Superb hindquarters which were not overdone in any way like so many we see today. Shown in tip top condition. Moved exceptionally well, as only a correctly constructed dog can, holding her outline. I would happily have her in my kennel. She is well worth campaigning seriously. BOB.
2nd Jones’s WILLOWRUSH KERSEY DUSK AT SERENJAR
Yellow bitch with a pleasing head and expression. Good reach of neck. Well laid back shoulders, though just a tad short in upper arm. Firm, level topline. Short coupled and strong over the loins. Correct turn of stifle, though a little more muscle on the thigh would complete the picture. Shown in absolutely superb coat, which was of the correct length, close, dense and clothed her lovely otter tail all round.

1st Gower’s AUGHTONCHASE MR SANDMAN
A lot of good breed points on this yellow dog, though his head was a little too deep in stop for my taste. Though he showed the happy go lucky ‘I love the whole world’ temperament that our breed is famous for. I couldn’t help but smile at his joi de vivre . He had an excellent front. A strong, level topline. Superb spring of rib. Gorgeous feet and bone. His exuberance was a joy..

1st Gower’s NIGABEE HONETBEE AT AUGHTONCHASE
Yellow bitch with a pleasing outline. Nicely moulded head with a good length of muzzle. Strong neck with good reach. Very good shoulders, length of forearm and forechest, which together gave her an excellent front construction. Nice and deep through the girth will well sprung ribs and lovely hindquarters. Coat a little long and open. Moved very well.
2nd Jones’s LEMBAS FAITH AT SERENJAR
A yellow bitch who carried her 8 years with aplomb. Nice head, with a very pleasing and wise expression. Very nicely constructed both fore and aft. A little longer in the rib cage than my winner, but correct in the coupling. Lovely bone and feet. She moved very nicely and I just wanted to put my arms around her and hug her. This nice, neat bitch created a lovely picture set up and was handled very well. She is feminine throughout and stood on super tight feet. She obviously still needs to mature and tighten. She was clean enough coming and going and strode out on the go around.
2nd Astbury’s JILONY BOBBY BALL AT DORBURY
An extremely raw young man at the moment but offering nice type. Initially he was roaching in the stack but did settle as the class went on. 1st Davey’s LABRY BERRY PARDY
This 19 month old bitch is a nice height and has a lovely feminine head. Correct bite. She was nice on the move but typically for a teenager she needs to gain more weight but this will come with maturity.

This well proportioned male Sussex has a breed typical head with well defined stop, gentle eye and correct bite. He is well built with good bone, strong neck and topline. Head and tail both carried nicely and this all gave him a good roll when on the move. I was please to award him BOB

1st Maskell’s ENJAGER HARMONY WITH BROWNBANK BPIB
I really liked both of these puppies. 1 just has the edge on fore and after angulation for me. She is presented in gleaming condition and has excellent balance. Standing on super bone and nice tight feet. She has a beautiful head and expression. Correct ear length with correct fold. Nice length to rib ribs and short in loin. Moved very well and close up to BOB.
2nd Pilatova’s SABSKY SVRATKA
Another super type of bitch. Handled extremely well and sympathetically. Feminine throughout with super balance. Correct rib length and short in loin. She was a bit reluctant on the move today but did enough.
